High time to stop irresponsible and insensitive media reporting in India

As we all know, on 27th August 2020 an interview of Rhea Chakraborty was telecasted on NDTV, AajTak and India Today. Despite knowing that she was a prime suspect in Sushant Singh Rajput's case she is openly victimizing herself on national television.  This is not the first time such kind of incident has taken place on national television by media. Indian media has done many irresponsible and insensitive reporting in the past as well. At the time when Sushant passed away, his father was hounded by cameras from everywhere and was asked continuously how is he feeling. I mean really? A father who has lost his child will dance with joy or what. Even when there are natural calamities we find that the first question every reporter asks is how are you feeling. This kind of question is something really out of context when you are standing in a place where people are dying.  At times, Indian media have behaved in such an irresponsible and insensitive manner that it feels as if they are spine

Will banning the insiders from ads, shows and movies affect their image or brand they endorse?

Ever since the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, the insider vs. outsider debate has heated up. People are banning the insiders of Bollywood which means those actors who already have someone in the industry. All the insiders have been criticised, chided and slammed mercilessly by people from all over the world.  The ads which the actors including Kareena Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ananya Panday, Jahnvi Kapoor and others have been endorsing or have endorsed in the past might also suffer the blow because now people have turned against purchasing or installing those apps which have kept these faces as their brand ambassadors.  There are many television shows like Bigg Boss, The Kapil Sharma Show and others who are facing the blow as TKSS has Salman as one of the producers and Big Boss is hosted by Salman Khan due to which people want them to be banned from television forever.  Movies like Sadak 2, Laxmi Bomb and Bhuj who have insiders of the industry are also facing the heat because of

Relation of Bollywood with Underworld

Underworld was at its peak during the 90s when everything from food to movies was controlled by tha dons and mafias. Without them, one could not produce or make their movies. As we all know that the murder of Gulshan Kumar, the founder of T-Series was done by Abu Salem on Nadeem's insistence. According to Forbes, i n January 2001, well-known Indian film director Rakesh Roshan escaped an assassination attempt outside his Mumbai office when he refused to sell the overseas rights of his latest film,  Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai , to India’s leading criminal organizations.  The gangs used to be operated from Dubai and even today Dubai is the base of the underworld and many deadly gangsters operate from there and rule the cinemas. An article from Forbes also claims that Karan Johar during Kuch Kuch Hota Hai had also received threats from the underworld after his movie was released and he was somehow sent away from the eyes of gangsters.  According to ScoopWhoop, some of the celebrities who has

Why Biharis are constantly slammed and critcised by people?

Biharis have been slammed, criticised and chided since a long period of time from now. Whatever they do, wherever they go, if they are Bihari they have to face a lot of issues related to their background. I also come from Bihar so I know the issues faced by people. If we consider an article which was written by some reporter on toxic Bihari families who force their dreams on the children shows the most outdated mentality of people. Had this type of article been written for Khans or other people would have blasted them. But as it was Sushant nobody came forward.  Let me clarify some things about Biharis. If you think that they are very outdated, let me tell you no. I have studied in a co-ed school in Dhanbad and whatever values I learnt was from that school. Never underestimate a Bihari. He might not speak but he observes everything.  If we talk about state, then you will find all kinds of people in all kinds of state. Criticising Biharis is not correct. Let me tell you right now I am l

Will CBI justify the death of Sushant Singh Rajput?

Ever since the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, people who loved and admired him have been restless and wanted to have a CBI enquiry in the case. As the CBI investigation has been passed by the Supreme Court of India, the SIT team of 15 people have been on this case and are restlessly investigating as to what is fiction and reality.  The team is undoubtedly doing a great job and we hope that the death of the actor is justified. However, I still feel that somehow his death might be closed as suicide because most of the evidence are either being removed or have been already removed by police.  There are constant questionings, statements of people close to the actor have recorded their statements but there are way many loopholes in the story because Neeraj the cook is saying that Sushant used to smoke marijuana but even if that is true then he cannot intake too many rolls. This is because he also knows that too many rolls are harmful or health. The time of death has not been clearly mention

Hari Merdeka: The day when Malaysia Got Freedom

Everybody wants to have freedom in their lives. Nobody loves to be someone's slave. Malaysia was also under the clutches of different countries ruling them and when the country got its freedom on 31st August 1957 the joy and enthusiasm of people knew no bounds.  They celebrated the day with a lot of pomp and joy and there are many official and unofficial ceremonies and observances on this day. There are many controversies surrounding the day but the fact is that people celebrate the freedom of Malaysia on this day.  The day is very special to all the residents of Malaysia and like India, they also have programs and ceremonies on this day to remember the most important day of their country.

Encourage workers on Small Industry Day

Small Industry Day is a significant day for all the labourers and employees of small industry. Their contributions to the Indian economy often go unnoticed as they are not seen on the forefront frequently.  The day reminds you of the contributions and changes the small scale industry workers are making to the world which is the reason why they should be encouraged, motivated and appreciated for their efforts.  The day reminds us of the effort the labourers put in to make our life smooth and easy. We should give equal opportunities to all the labourers so that they can showcase their talent to the world as well and make the country proud with the artwork they do. For them, it might be a regular routine but for us, it is no less than an achievement.

Let us Celebrate Equality of Women on Women's Equality Day

Women are no less than men in any field whether it is sports, space or army. They have proved their worth everywhere and made the country and the world equally proud. They excel in every field they try to be in and establish their place firmly in society.  However, we find that there are many places where women do not get equal pay as that of men or they are continuously being reminded of their gender. This gives them an internal dissatisfaction and a sense of non-belongingness.  It is important for everybody to understand that females should be respected as that of males and are not to be insulted and criticized every time for their choices and options. I am a girl and I am proud to be one.  Similarly, all the girls and women should take pride in being female and move accordingly making everyone proud in the field they work in and becoming an inspiration for them.

Celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship on National Sports Day

National Sports Day is the day when we celebrate the sportsmanship and never give up spirit of a sportsperson. Everyone needs to realize the time, effort and labour a sportsman apply to their game.  Winning and losing are always two sides of the coin. It should not snatch away the innate love of sport you have. There are different types of sports played in the country but some are given more importance than the others.  There has always been a comparison between different sports and how one sport is better than others in terms of everything they offer to the public. I feel that this difference should stop and every sport should be given equal weightage so that people can enjoy watching them on their television screens.  Thus on National Sports Day let us take a pledge that we will watch all the sports with equal eyes and give them an equal weightage irrespective of everything.

End of an Era as Mahendra Singh Dhoni Announces Retirement

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not a name but a heartbeat of all Indians. His journey and life inspired various people to succeed in their goals. His captaincy has been very inspirational as he has become the only captain after Kapil Dev who won World Cup for India.  Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a native of Jharkhand and came from a normal middle-class family where his father did not want him to become a cricketer but have a job and settle down in life. He didn't give up and kept on struggling to find his place in cricket.  His helicopter shot would be worth remembering as he was someone who introduced it to cricket and aced it well. His teammates always trusted him and always said that Mahi sambhal lega. His attitude, nature and love for cricket was something that nobody could have.  He rarely lost his temper on-field and always encouraged his mates to play well. He was famous as Captian Cool. He won T20 Cups and ICC Champions Trophy for the country. He was a captain who always lifted the spi

Is it Beneficial to release Movies on OTT?

Nowadays, we see many movies are opting for an OTT release keeping in mind the COVID 19 period. There have been many movies that have been released and are still releasing on OTT. It has been a tough time for all and everybody is trying to get out of it.  Releasing movies on OTT is quite a new thing in India as it has never been practiced or preached in India and the multiplex companies are facing losses due to this as they have fewer movies which will release in theatres.  It is according to me better that the movies are released on OTT than in theatres as there are a lot of people who do not have time to watch the movie in theatres and they can view newly released movies on the same day from the comfort of their homes.   Recently, there have been many movies that are facing the wrath of people as they are nepotistic and the actors have not spoken about Sushant Singh Rajput's death.  Only time can decide the fate of these movies but one thing is for sure that OTT has brought a rev

Evergreen Patriotic Songs of India

Patriotic songs are such that give you goosebumps anywhere you live. In India, there have been various patriotic songs sung by different singers and they continue to entertain us even today with their melody and words. Some of the patriotic songs which are remembered by people even today are. 1. Vande Mataram  This was a beautiful poem written by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee. It is the national song of the country. It was sung by Lata Mangeshkar. Lata Mangeshkar's voice is so powerful in the song that it can leave you teary-eyed.  2. Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walo This song is a very apt song for modern India. The way our country has progressed is commendable and this song is written and sung in the same spirit. Our country has given so much talent to the world that this song is apt to be heard anytime and anywhere. 3. Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani Wherever you go, whatever you do, if you are an Indian you will love to eat Indian dal roti more than pizza and pasta. The song is written on a ve

How COVID 19 has affected celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with pomp and show in Maharashtra as it is about welcoming Ganeshji to our homes and immersing him once the puja is over. There are songs, dances celebrating his arrival and departure.  This year however we will get to see less of these celebrations as the world is still coming out from the impact of COVID 19. The grand celebration at Lalbaug will be greatly missed as people are practicing social distancing norms.  The year has brought in many troubles for all and many festivals have been impacted by the COVID but all we can do is hope for the best that everything returns back to normal and we can continue with our normal lives.

Janmashthmi 2020: What will we miss this year

As everybody knows, Janmashthani is celebrated in the memory of the birth of Lord Krishna. He came to this world to remove evil and establish humanity. He was an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. His birth is celebrated all over the world, especially in Vrindavan.  However this year the COVID 19 pandemic has brought the world to a screeching halt. It has become difficult to celebrate festivals this year with full pomp and show as social distancing norms are being practiced by all.  This year the Dahi Handi and grand celebration at Vrindavan has been canceled due to the pandemic and everybody will be missing that. Nonetheless, as they say the show must go on the people will celebrate Janmashtami at their homes by preparing sweets, worshipping the Lord, observing fast and going to temple.

Celebrate the Spirit of Patriotism on Kargil Vijay Divas

Kargil Vijay Diwas reminds us of how our soldiers laid down their lives for the motherland without any second thoughts. It is a day of pride and patriotism for all the citizens across the country.  There was a huge war fought in Kargil between Indian and Pakistani armies in Kargil situated in Kashmir for the Line of Control. The outcome of the war was a victory for India where we gained complete procession of Kargil.  The war reminds us of how powerful our Indian Army is and we will not be quiet if someone attacks us. This day makes us feel proud to be an Indian and we should celebrate this day by remembering all those jawans who fought for us relentlessly and selflessly.

IPL to be held in UAE this Year

IPL or Indian Premier League is one of the favorite cricket sport among Indians as many players come in and play the match. The IPL had been postponed this year due to COVID 19  but now it is being heard that the match will be held in UAE.  Many of the cricket tournaments have been either canceled or postponed due to the ongoing pandemic but IPL which remains favorite of people from all around the world is finally happening.  Everybody has been curiously waiting for their favorite outdoor games to start so that they can get out of the monotony of life. Finally, with the IPL a fresh wave of excitement has excited the people.  It is yet to be seen whether the permission for the same will be granted or not but nonetheless it is great and refreshing news for everybody.

Ram Mandir Bhumi Poojan : A Sign of Victory for Indians

Ayodhya the birthplace of Lord Rama had been in conflict for the last many years. Hindus maintained that a temple should be built in place of Babri Masjid while Muslims said that Babri Masjid is not built on Lord Rama's land.  In the historical judgment, the land of Ayodhya was said to be the birthplace of Lord Rama and a temple can be built on it. The Bhumi Poojan of Ram Mandir is a victory for those who had complete faith in Lord Rama and justice.  Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi will be visiting Ayodhya for the pooja and will lay the foundation stone for building the temple of our beloved Lord Rama. This is going to be an emotional moment for all the Indians.  In the end I would just like to write one line that is Jay Shri Ram. All because of Lord Rama's love we are going to see this temple built and worship him in his birthplace.

Naseerudin Shah : OTT will take up Over Multiplex in No Time

As the world is struggling with COVID 19 we observe that OTT has given a new lease of life to all through their web series and movies. Most of the series and movies have been loved by the common man and ultimately there has been a debate on whether OTT will be a new binging space for people than cinema.  Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has said that there will be a time when OTT will become more popular than multiplex as there have been binge-watching on it continuously.  At one time single screen was beaten by multiplexes and now it is looking that OTT will beat multiplexes because of its ticket and food cost. Nothing can be said right now but if this happens a new revolution in the world of cinema is coming for sure which will take it by storm.

Rhea Chakraborty: Actress or Annabelle Doll

Ever since Rhea Chakraborty had made a video after Sushant's father filed an FIR with Patna Police there have been a lot of memes coming up. The latest one is that she is being compared to the Annabelle doll.  Nobody knows the complete truth until she herself comes out and speaks of it but until that happens the meme is gaining a lot more popularity. People say that she is just like a doll who is being used for personal gains of other people.  Rhea claimed to be Sushant's girlfriend only after he passed away and since then her behavior seems to be very pretentious. She looks like a hypocrite who is trying to hide many facts by victimizing herself.  Only time will show her true face but for now, she looks like a doll with whom anyone can play, break or make. If she does not comes out herself, it will get difficult for her to prove her innocence later on.

How Floods have Effected Human Beings and Wildlife

Floods are a natural calamity that ruins houses, wildlife, crops and takes life of many people as well. People were already suffering from COVID 19 and the floods made it even more worse this year. The people were not safe inside their houses as well.  Floods forced everyone to come outside their houses and gather in a single place or ask for help. The condition of the people had become very miserable and the government came forward to help them in these tragic times.  They tried their best to help the people by providing them food and shelter so that they are not rendered homeless. There were many non-governmental organizations that came forward and helped the people in times of need and emergency.  It is really saddening to see the situation that has taken over the world and we can only hope and pray that things are returned to their complete normal self so that everybody can leave peacefully and comfortably.

Effect on Festivals Due to COVID 19

Anybody and everybody in this world loves celebrating festivals but sometimes it so happens that we cannot celebrate the festival properly with all pomp and show. This might be either due to personal tragedy or because of some pandemic.  COVID 19 had brought the whole world in a standstill position at a point of time. Even though now people are going out of their houses for work or for their daily requirements but still there is an internal fear of catching the infection.  Festivals are normally celebrated by gathering in one place and with fun and frolic. The COVID 19, however, put a brake on these festivals as it was not possible for people to celebrate the festival together as there was a constant fear in the minds of people.  The festivals this year could not be celebrated properly due to the infection and only God knows how long this will last and how much time it will take to return to complete normalcy. We can only hope and wish for the best to happen.

Is it Right To Completely Blame Bollywood Biggies for Sushant's Death?

After Sushant Singh Rajput's death, many people from all over the world have come out to support him on different social media handles. Everybody is asking for CBI investigation and the efforts might start bearing fruits anytime.  However, if we look at the bigger picture we see that many Bollywood celebs who might have met the actor only one or two times are being pulled in this case. It is good to ask for justice but blaming someone without verifying the facts is not good.  I know that many Bollywood bigwigs have committed some or other crime but you cannot link it directly with the Sushant's case unless you have solid proof or evidence to do so.  I would like to request everyone to please stop blaming anyone for his death without any solid proof as it will lead to nothingness and everything will start falling in the wrong place.
