Is it Beneficial to release Movies on OTT?

Carnival Cinemas express disappointment over OTT release of Laxxmi ...

Nowadays, we see many movies are opting for an OTT release keeping in mind the COVID 19 period. There have been many movies that have been released and are still releasing on OTT. It has been a tough time for all and everybody is trying to get out of it.

Releasing movies on OTT is quite a new thing in India as it has never been practiced or preached in India and the multiplex companies are facing losses due to this as they have fewer movies which will release in theatres.

It is according to me better that the movies are released on OTT than in theatres as there are a lot of people who do not have time to watch the movie in theatres and they can view newly released movies on the same day from the comfort of their homes.

Recently, there have been many movies that are facing the wrath of people as they are nepotistic and the actors have not spoken about Sushant Singh Rajput's death.

Only time can decide the fate of these movies but one thing is for sure that OTT has brought a revolution in the way we view cinema as the cost of tickets and popcorns has been saved to a great extent.

As we all know that the schools have been closed due to COVID 19 pandemic and the students have been taking online classes from the last few months. Online classes are becoming the biggest failures in India. Some of the reasons for the failure of online classes are bad internet connectivity. Despite knowing that all the work around the world is being done online, the cellular networks are not increasing their network speed due to which the class gets hampered.  One of the other reasons can be that students do not have a habit to take classes online and that also on laptops and computers. They do not learn until they get scolded or shouted upon. That system has completely led to the failure of the classes as you do not know whether your concepts are clear to the students or not.  The teachers are also facing a lot of issues in taking online classes as all the matter needs to be written well before hand so that the explanation becomes easier. Bonde brownies use brown sugar instead of cocoa which gives them butterscotch flavour.  These brownies were very popular in the 1940s and 1950s as they became an alternative to chocolate.
