Celebrate the power of Translation on International Translation Day

Translation is considered to be one of the most convenient and easy medium for understanding an unknown langauge. It gives you the power to decode a language easily.  Translation day is celebrated on the feast of St. Jerome who was a Bible translator and patronized all the translators. He made Bible the first book to be translated into English and various other languages for easy understanding of people across the world.  Since then, various novels, films and languages have been translated into different languages for giving people a picture to different languages. On this Translation Day, let us try to learn different languages or translate them in various forms for people across the world.

Take good care of your heart on World Heart Day

Heart is an important part of the human body and when the heart stops the person dies. It is really important to have a healthy heart for leading a long life. World Heart Day is celebrated to make people aware of different heart diseases and how to prevent them.  The day also makes one aware of how they can take care of their heart so that they do not contract any heart disease in future if they are fit and healthy.   Many people die from different heart diseases as they do not take care of their heart or do not have an idea of how they can take care of their heart. So, it is important to be aware of preventing heart disease and keeping it well-functioned. On this World Heart Day, let us commit ourselves to happy living by taking care of our heart.

World Rabies Day - The day when rabies vaccine was made

Rabies is very infectious which can cause death if not cured in time. There are many people who die becuase they do not get timely treatment or vaccine for rabies. The countries like Asia and Africa report most of the cases of rabies and are on high risk of dying.  The main problem is that people do not have any idea of vaccines which can save their lives from rabies. It is important for people to be aware about rabies and its cure otherwise people will keep on dying without having any awareness about the cure.  There are many events and programs held on World Rabies Day which make people aware about the disease and its implications on human body. The cure of the disease is also disscused in detail in these programs.

Rejoice your love of travel on World Tourism Day

Most of the people around the world love travelling. Exploring new places and gathering more knowledge about those places is what keep us excited and peeped up for life.  On World Tourism Day, unleash the traveller inside you and be limitless to travel wherever you want. It is a well-known fact that due to COVID 19 one has to be very careful even if you are going to buy essential items.  However, you can travel by taking all the safety measures so that your love for adventure is also intact and you can move on to explore new places in the country.

Celebrate the languages on European Day of Languages

Languages are a pride of every nation as they differentiate us as individuals and give us a variety in speaking. There are different languages spoken by people across the world. It is important to preserve these languages so that they do not get lost in the glamour glitz of modern languages.  European Day of Languages is celebrated with a sole reason to preserve the languages so that the future generation can take pride in having the languages as part of the growing culture.   Thus, one should celebrate the European Day of Languages by speaking their respective languages and preserving them for all time to come.

Take a pledge to control Population on World Contraception Day

As we all know that contraception as a measure to control childbirth and population of a country. There are many places in the world where we find population increasing daily because proper measures for controlling childbirth are not taken.  Contraception is a very important measure for controlling childbirth but in India, we observe that people do not want to discuss it openly as they feel it to be some kind of disease or a wrong thing which should not be discussed between ten people.  However, it is important to come out of this shyness and discuss contraceptive methods openly so that an individual can have a healthy sex life and control the growing population slowly but steadily.

Is it right to call Bollywood actors hero, heroines or stars?

The question I have asked in the topic is actually very much relevant because it is very important to know who we are following and whether that person deserves the kind of praise and appreciation we have for them.  We have honoured all the actors and actresses with terms like celebrities, stars, hero and heroines. What great and heroic work have they done to deserve such a title? I know that few actors deserve this kind of honour but giving this kind of honour to all is a disgrace of those who are real heroes and heroines of the country. We need to realize that the honour and respect we give to these actors are actually deserving or not. This is because the recent turn of events has made us realize that these actors have a more muddled and complicated life than we as common citizens.  Thus, start respecting those who actually deserve your respect and not those who are not capable of getting this kind of respect, honour and love from your end.

Politicians contracting COVID-19 : Why Social Distancing has become all the more important ?

As we all know, many eminent politicians have contracted COVID-19. It is really saddening to know that politicians who work day and night for the welfare of people are now contracting the disease.  The COVID 19 is now posing a threat to all as its vaccine is yet to be discovered and people do not know any other medium apart from social distancing to keep themselves safe.  Politicians cannot practice social distancing because they have to meet each other and discuss issues related to the country. However, common men can practice social distancing as it is better to be safe than sorry.  Thus, try to keep yourself safe and secure during this tough phase of COVID 19 and slowly this disease might permanently disappear from the planet just like magic.

How far is it correct for seniors of Bollywood to jump into useless matters?

Recently, Jaya Bachchan who has been an actress and now is a Member of Parliament spoke about an issue on Bollywood saying that actresses like Kangana Ranaut is ungrateful for all the love and support she has got in Bollywood and instead Ranaut calls it a gutter.  The statement rose many controversies after its release and people who were not against Bachchan family started leaking the pictures of Shweta Nanda and her daughter Navya Naveli from a drug party. Her comment on Ranaut's statement according to me was highly hypocrite.  I feel this becuase when Jaya Prada an actress and an MP was insulted by a minister for her undergarments, Jaya Bachchan stood there and was laughing on it as if it was some kind of joke. She did not care to speak at that time and now she is defending Bollywood as if it is her personal property. A senior actor like her who is not active in Bollywood anymore should be very careful about what she speaks. This is because now her statements are affecting her f

Take care of yourself on World First Aid Day

First aid always comes to your rescue whenever you get minor cuts or burns. It is present in almost every home and is mandatory in every hospital.  With First Aid kit in hand, you do not have to worry about anything as everything is under control with quick bandaging. First aid skills have been known by people since 500 BC. Ancient Greeks and Romans used to bandage those who returned injured from warfare.  There are different kinds of first aid services and few of them require special training for expertise. Thus, if you do not have a first aid kit at your home do keep it so that it can help you in an emergency.

Hindi Diwas: Celebrate your mother tongue with pride

Hindi has been the pride of Indians since olden times. People continued to modify Sanskrit and slowly made Hindi as its easier version. Hindi has given us a separate identity and image around the globe.  Swami Vivekananda as we all know went to the United States of America and when everybody was laughing at him due to his attire, language or his values, he spoke in Hindi at a conference where all Englishmen were sitting.  This was perhaps the first time as Indian had stood up for himself on an international platform. Since then, we have witnessed many orators speaking in Hindi at international platforms.  However, today we see that Hindi is vanishing from our culture. People are ashamed to speak in Hindi as they think it to be an insult to their knowledge. Remember one thing always, English was, is and always be a second language. As foreigners take pride in their langauge, why can't we as Indians take pride to speak Hindi?

Is BMC doing their job or is it a political vendtetta behind demolishing Kanagana Ranaut's office?

As we all know, Kangana Ranaut is the tigress of Bollywood. She never fears to speak on the matters concerning her or anyone in Bollywood. BMC or Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation had demolished Kangana's office and not only that they have the audacity to say that they did not know about it.  The queen Kangana has directly targeted Maharashtra CM for this issue. BMC has done a very wrong thing of demolishing an office not only from outside but from inside and they didn't even send a notice to Kangana regarding the demolition.  Bombay High Court has already issued a stay order and the case in running in the court. Meanwhile, Sanjay Raut who had abused Kangana on national television is saying that the Maharashtra Government has nothing to do with demolition.  She should approach BMC. I would like to ask him why BMC will take this action without any political pressure and that also when this office has been functioning from a long period of time.  There are many questions which B

Rhea Chakraborty arrested for drug procurement and consumption; murder investigation continues

All the fans of SSR jumped with joy as Rhea got arrested for drug procurement and consumption. Everybody has been looking forward to this day and finally, something progressive happened which made people believe in the judicial system of the country. However, the fact that who murdered SSR is still being investigated as the evidences are being collected, questioning is going on and new things are being revealed by different people.  This time, the people have got positive vibes that this case will be definitely cracked as the speed of investigation is good and people are slowly cracking up. We have recently seen the tremendous support Rhea has got after her arrest which is completely baseless. I just wish, hope and pray that Sushant gets justice and his killers get arrested and are tortured the way he was before he left this world without saying a proper goodbye.

How fake feminism in deeply rooted in our culture

The term feminism ever since its inception has been misunderstood by all. Some of the females get a license to insult, ridicule or criticize males in the name of feminism.  We have seen our so-called Bollywood actors who have been marching out with the flag of fake feminism for quite long. For instance, if we see Rhea Chakraborty's case of media lynching it might have been a paid one but all the actresses picked up their feminism tag and walked on it.  There have been so many cases in India like Aarushi murder case, Jessica Lall murder case, Nirbhaya rape case and a countless number of cases where a female has been killed either after raping or due to some other reasons but these so-called feminists have been quiet about it.  As soon as Ashifa case came up they started ashamed of being an Indian. I believe in only one thing that if you are a staunch supporter of feminism then why you have to be partial about supporting all the girls. Either you support everyone or don't support

Why Hollywood movies are much more popular than Bollywood in India?

As we all know, Bollywood has a fan base in India but whenever a Hollywood movie or any English movie series is released in India people are eager to watch it more than any Bollywood movie. Even a flop Hollywood movie manage to earn lakhs when overall earnings are compared.  There are varied reasons as to why Hollywood movies are much more popular in India. Firstly, the storyline. If you have ever seen any Hollywood movie you will find that the storyline is very tight knitted and always moves the narration forward rather than sticking to one narrative. There can be multiple narratives which are brought together into one.  The characterization of Hollywood movies is according to the story. They hire only those actors or actresses who are fit for doing the role. If you have ever seen the VFX of English movies it is way better than Indian cinema.  You will know that VFX is done in the movie but you enjoy it so much that you forget everything else. Talking about sequels, the story is alway

How online education is proving to be the biggest failure in India

As we all know that the schools have been closed due to COVID 19 pandemic and the students have been taking online classes from the last few months. Online classes are becoming the biggest failures in India. Some of the reasons for the failure of online classes are bad internet connectivity. Despite knowing that all the work around the world is being done online, the cellular networks are not increasing their network speed due to which the class gets hampered.  One of the other reasons can be that students do not have a habit to take classes online and that also on laptops and computers. They do not learn until they get scolded or shouted upon. That system has completely led to the failure of the classes as you do not know whether your concepts are clear to the students or not.  The teachers are also facing a lot of issues in taking online classes as all the matter needs to be written well before hand so that the explanation becomes easier. The setting up of the class like environment

Why National Award is much more worthy and respectful than other awards?

All of us know that there are different award shows in India. However, all of them are fixed. Let us discuss about National Awards which I think is one of the most respected, worthy and a non-fixed honour bestowed on people from different fields.  National Award is given by President of India and there is no compulsion as to who is attending and who is not. People getting the National Award are much more respected by all as compared to when they receive other awards.  National Awards makes us recognize the hidden talent and gems of the country. They are distributed in different categories among different people and given accordingly. Since childhood,  I had been a big fan of award shows but little did I know that they are fixed. After knowing this fact, I stopped watching these shows altogether. I believe that award should not be given to a person because they have good links or good looks but because they are talented enough to deserve the honour. National Award is exactly the award w
