Will banning the insiders from ads, shows and movies affect their image or brand they endorse?

Rhea Chakraborty shows off the perks of being a 'Myntra Insider ...

Ever since the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, the insider vs. outsider debate has heated up. People are banning the insiders of Bollywood which means those actors who already have someone in the industry. All the insiders have been criticised, chided and slammed mercilessly by people from all over the world.

The ads which the actors including Kareena Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ananya Panday, Jahnvi Kapoor and others have been endorsing or have endorsed in the past might also suffer the blow because now people have turned against purchasing or installing those apps which have kept these faces as their brand ambassadors.

There are many television shows like Bigg Boss, The Kapil Sharma Show and others who are facing the blow as TKSS has Salman as one of the producers and Big Boss is hosted by Salman Khan due to which people want them to be banned from television forever.

Movies like Sadak 2, Laxmi Bomb and Bhuj who have insiders of the industry are also facing the heat because of the insider debate. The major cast in these movies remained mum about Sushant which did not go down with people well.

After so much of criticism and trolling the image of these actors are bound to get affected to some extent because public is what makes them and they have the power of destroying them as well. The brands which they have endorsed in the past or are endorsing will need to hire fresh faces or issue a public statement saying that these actors will be removed and people can buy the brands.

IC 814 Kandahar Hijacking has been released on Netflix recently and has already started creating controversy. There was a meeting of Netflix with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Tuesday and the OTT giant has committed that they will review their content so that they do not hurt the national sentiments of the country.  The series has created controversy because of the hijackers who were involved in the 1999 Indian Airlines hijacking. They have been given nicknames like Burger, Bhola, Shankar, Cheif and Doctor. Some people think this type of characterization shows the hijackers in a human light, leading to public outbursts.  The ministry demanded an explanation from Netflix India about such kind of insensitive and harmful elements in the series as there are real-life elements depicted in the series. However, Netflix has claimed that the series is made with all the public resources which includes government statements and books.  The hijacking was done by the...
