There was a time when everything was simple, sober and people used to be happy with whatever they had. However, as time passed things started changing drastically and today everybody wants more of everything and are ready to go to any lengths for it. For instance, if we look at the weddings of yesteryear and today a lot has changed. In yesteryears, everything used to be very simple including traditions and rituals. There was more fun element in those days than today. Today, everybody is just after looking their best even if they have to spend unlimited money for the same. It is saddening to see that we have started running so much after trends that we have forgotten the real meaning of things which actually matter. The run after the Western culture is so much that the Westerners are adopting our trend and we are adopting their trends.  I do not say what is wrong or right but in my opinion, one should do only what one is capable of and not extend their limits of doing anything as nobody

Bollywood has always been an inspiration for a few people. They follow celebrities blindly and try to do what they are doing. However, few stars have made humour out of the marriage and many people even follow that trend without giving it any second thoughts.  For example, when any favourite celebrity goes for a divorce many commoners who love that particular celeb follow the trend without giving it any second thought. Almost all actresses do not apply sindoor after marriage and many girls follow the trend of not doing the same.  It is okay for you to follow something positive when a celebrity is doing so otherwise, it is wrong to follow the wrong trends set by them because by doing so you are destroying your own life.
