When is National Sports Day and why do we celebrate it?

National Sports Day is the day when we celebrate the sportsmanship and never give up spirit of a sportsperson. Everyone needs to realize the time, effort and labour a sportsman apply to their game.

Winning and losing are always two sides of the coin. It should not snatch away the innate love of sport you have. There are different types of sports played in the country but some are given more importance than the others.

There has always been a comparison between different sports and how one sport is better than others in terms of everything they offer to the public. I feel that this difference should stop and every sport should be given equal weightage so that people can enjoy watching them on their television screens.

Thus on National Sports Day let us take a pledge that we will watch all the sports with equal eyes and give them an equal weightage irrespective of everything.

Maharani: A web series which has shown Rabri Devi to be a pseudo intellectual

Sony Liv has released a new web series called Maharani which is said to be based on the lives of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi. However, this series has faced a lot of backlash and criticism because it has shown how Rabri worked for Bihar but the people of Bihar say that this series is cleaning the image of Rabri Devi. The series shows how an illiterate lady who has no interest at all in politics and is happy with the normal life she is leading. She is relieved when her husband says that he will resign from the post of Bihar CM as he is shot. Little did she know that she will be made the CM of Bihar as Bhima, her husband is unable to discharge his duties as a CM. Ravi Teja starrer Mr Bachchan releases on OTT

Ravi Teja's action drama movie titled Mr Bachchan which created a lot of hype before its release failed to create magic at the box office. The movie is directed by Harish Shankar and was released in theatres on 15th August this year. The movie is now available on Netflix. The movie is adapted from Raid where Ajay Devgn played the lead. However, the Telugu version has its own way of showing the film. The movie is about an Income Tax officer played by Ravi Teja who raids the house of a corrupt MP played by Jagapathi Babu. The film marks the debut of Bhagyashri Borse who plays Teja's love interest, Jikki. Despite the wonderful plot and Ravi Teja's fan following the film could not bring audiences to the theatres.
