Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai Trailer Review: A trailer which is comic as well as romantic at the same time

Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai this line became very popular at a time when it was written on a 100 rupee note. Nobody knew whether it was a love message or something else but this statement actually went on to become very popular across the nation.  The trailer of the film by the same name adding Kya initially has been released by Zee5 and it surely looks entertaining and romantic. The movie has a modern tadka to it and the cast is great as we have already seen Jassi Gill doing comedy and Surbhi Jyoti also aces in the role of Sonam Gupta.  If we go by trailer, then we can say that the movie is going to become an entertaining experience for audiences all over.

Mumbai Diaries 26/11 Trailer Review: A retelling of terror attacks which shook the whole nation

Everybody wants to forget the day 26/11 in 2008 when Mumbai was shaken completely by the terrorists. It was an attack that has been etched in the memories of people even when we are in 2021. The attacks impacted the lives of many people and Mumbai Diaries 26/11 is a retelling of the attacks that took place.  Some people lost everything in the attacks and the trailer of the series focuses on the firing that was done in the hospital and an atmosphere of terror and tension surrounded the people as there was only entry and exit in the hospital and the patients could not run away.  The story is narrated from the doctor's point of view who were employed in the hospital at that time and their encounters with the terrorists. The series will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video and going by trailer the series looks like a great watch.

Engineering Girls 2.0 Trailer Review: A series which will remind you of your college days

TVF has time and again introduced new and unique concepts in the format of web series which have been unexplored before. The first season of Engineering Girls showed what goes on in the life of girls in engineering college and the trailer of the latest season shows how the final year of the life of these girls is a tough one for them.  The new season shows how these three girls struggle in their life along with their personal attachments and misadventures. The trailer seems to be very repetitive and nothing apart from the three lead actors seems to be interesting.  The trailer of the second season seems to be promising enough and it is going to be a roller coaster ride and remind everyone of their final year in college.

Crimes and Confessions Web Series Review: Another soft porn from the house of AltBalaji

AltBalaji has released many series which have been categorized in the category of soft porn and their latest outing in this sequence is Crimes and Confessions. The poster of the series itself shows it to be soft porn. However, no objections have been raised till now but the series looks so.  The series is a collection of different stories where it is shown that committing and confessing a crime in the name of love is completely justified. However, I beg to differ as this is not right according to me. How can you kill someone you love or some other person loves and justify your action? There might be jealousy or heartbreaks but that does not mean that people will go on a killing spree and start hurting others for getting pleasure out of the pain. The series is again soft porn and feels monotonous after a point of time.

Sabka Sai Trailer Review: A trailer which explores the unseen aspects of Sai's life

Sai Baba has been an inspiration and showed oaths to many during his lifetime. He tried to give whatever people wanted and treated everyone with love, equality and compassion.  As a Sufi saint, he has supported freedom fighters, given views on those who spread hatred all in the name of religion and also about the hardships he faced from people who believed in science and medicine more than his miracles.  He also preached about widow remarriage and inter-religious marriages which were not usually practised by society. This is an autobiography of one of the most popular and celebrated saints of the century.  His full journey from being an adopted child to his teenage identity struggles and an ultimate establishment as Shirdi Sai Baba is beautifully narrated in these 10 episodic series which is all set to release on MX Player.

Chehre Trailer Review: A trailer full of suspense and thrills

Chehre has been delayed many times because of all the controversies surrounding Rhea Chakraborty. The trailer of the film had been released long back but the release is being delayed as the makers probably want to release it in the theatres.  The trailer looks very intriguing and suspenseful and gives you chills down the spine. There are multiple characters in the movie and Mr Amitabh Bachchan takes the central stage as a sneaky old man who frightens Emraan Hashmi's character to death.  The movie has been in new more due to Rhea than the trailer as she has been the prime accused in Sushant Singh Rajput's case and have got acquitted for it. However, the angst of the public refuses to calm down and probably the movie will face the public heat to a great extent.

Helmet Trailer Review: A trailer where you might relate with a few things

Helmet is a film that will be released by Zee5 and the trailer of the movie has been released online. The title of the film is local slang for condoms in India. The move features Aparshakti Khurrana, Ashish Verma, Pranutan Bahl and Sharib Hashmi.  The story is of three men who try to frame out their lif through the financial crisis. In rode to deal with the crisis, they try to rob a truck filled with cellphones. The plot turns around when the truck is full of condoms instead of cellphones.  The movie fights with social stigma and sells condoms to those who are shy from buying them from chemists and local stores. The movie with its unique concept is sure to catch the audience's attention.

Bhoot Police Trailer Review: A horror comedy which will surely entertain you

Many people do not believe in ghosts until they have some or other spooky experiences in their life. The trailer of Bhoot Police is out where we see that the character of Saif Ali Khan does not believe in ghosts but starts believing in one when he hears the story from Yami Gautam's character.  Arjun Kapoor's character also does not believe in ghosts and he along with Saif Ali Khan tries to dupe people in the name of ghosts until they hear a true ghost story. What follows next is their trail towards the place where the ghost lives and they try to ward off the ghost.  The trailer of the film looks unique and entertaining and it will surely be a roller coaster ride all along.

The Legend of Hanuman Season 2 Web Series Review : A series which is wholly dedicated to Lord Rama's greatest devotee

If we talk about the greatest devotee of Lord Rama, then we will find that it is Hanuman. He has been one of the driving forces behind Ramayana and always respected Lord Rama as well as Sita. The series shows the journey of Hanuman from childhood to how he went to become an important part of Ramayana.  The Legend of Hanuman brings out all the unseen aspects of Hanuman which might have not been shown in any other mythological series. The series is very knowledgeable as it helps you in knowing how much naughty and witty Hanuman has been. The second season explores the story from where it ended in the first season. It brings forth all the aspects and facts as to what all obstructions were faced by Hanuman when he went to Lanka which is modern-day Sri Lanka. The series is animated and the dubbing has been done really well.

Dial 100 Movie Review: A movie despite having a great cast fails to impress the audiences

When the trailer of Dial 100 it looked like that the movie is going to be wonderful. However, this was not the case. The movie was not anything closer to the trailer. Despite having seasoned and versatile actors like Neena Gupta and Manoj Bajpayee the movie could not capture the soul of the audiences.  Although the theme of the movie is good the writing is so weak that it is evident in the dialogues, storyline and plot. There is nothing new in the plot. The theme of revenge is evident in the plot and shows how rich and powerful control the middle-class people and give them a tough time.  The movie is not even a one time watch and it feels like a painful experience. The monotonous tone of the movie makes it feel all the more a bad experience.

TVF Aspirants Web Series Review: A series which shows there is more to life than a UPSC exam

UPSC or Union Public Service Commission is an exam where not everybody gets success. The people who get success at times become void of emotions and start behaving like robots. This is what we get to see in Aspirants. The series is very much inspiring in every regard and is one of the best series from the best house TVF. TVF has always come up with unique ideas and Aspirants is no different. The cast as usual is great and some of the dialogues feel so real that you forget that you are watching a movie.  It feels as if everything is happening with the lead cast. The incidents, dialogues make the story so real that TVF should take a bow from my end as nothing of this sort has been made on Indian television and neither anything like this will ever come up.

Bhuj: The Pride of India Movie Review: A movie which fails to meet the expectations

Whenever we witness any patriotic movie, our heart swells with pride and we feel proud to be an Indian. However, the recent outing of Ajay Devgn Bhuj gives no such feeling. This is because the movie has more gunshots, bombs, fights and takes in so many characters that it becomes difficult to focus on the story.  There are so many plots and the duration of the movie is short which makes it difficult to understand what exactly is going on. If compared to yesterday's release Shershaah, I find the latter more patriotic and emotional than Bhuj.  The tribute is no doubt fine but had the length been more and the emotional angle captured to the core the movie might have been better. For me, this movie is not even in a timepass category as I waited eagerly for the movie and found nothing fruitful.

Shershaah Movie Review: A movie which strikes the right chord in every step

It is impossible to match the valour, courage and bravery of the Indian Army and the soldiers as they take their lives in their hands to protect the countrymen. Their lives are not theirs but of motherland. Shershaah is a retelling of the story of a soldier who died martyr's death and freed his country from terrorists.  Captain Vikram Batra who was the pride of the Indian Army died while fighting Kargil War with Pakistan Army. He had harboured a dream of going to the Army when he was a kid and that dream was realized after he received training from INA and was posted in Kashmir.  Everybody in his family including his parents, brother and his girlfriend supported him in this journey. If we talk about the movie, then I can eat back my words which I wrote in Shershaah's trailer that Siddharth Malhotra was uncomfortable in this film. I feel that he has justified the life and personality of Vikram Batra to a great extent. Although I did not feel the chemistry between Siddharth and K

200 Halla Ho Trailer Review: A movie which inspires women to be fearless in every situation

At times, people stoop to such a low level that they do not care about anything and assault a woman without thinking of her future. This is somehow a common thing with Dalits and other low castes as people think that they can do whatever they want with a lower caste female. 200 Halla Ho trailer has been released by Zee5 and the trailer looks inspiring to all those girls out there who do not say anything about their assault as they feel it to be their fault. The trailer shows how 200 Dalit girls attack a rapist when the accused is let free by the court.  If we go by trailer, then we can conclude that the storyline is really amazing and we can expect something good and fruitful out of the movie.

The Empire Trailer Review: A desi twist to the Game of Thrones series

Hotstar has released many series which are quite watchable and the trailer of its upcoming series The Empire has been released and it looks quite interesting and many people have called it to be an Indian version of Game of Thrones.  The series has been inspired by a book named Empire of the Moghul: Raiders from the North by Alex Rutherford. The series shows the journey of Emperor Babur from Ferghana to Samarkand and beyond that.  The series marks the digital debut of Kunal Kapoor and is said to be the biggest show made in India. It has been directed by Mitakshara Kumar and adapted by Bhavani Iyer. The show is produced by Emmay Entertainment and has been shot in Uzbekistan and India.  The show also features Drashti Dhami, Aditya Seal, Sahher Bambba, Rahul Dev, Dino Morea and Shabana Azmi. It will be releasing on August 27 on Disney+ Hotstar.

Balcony Buddies Movie Review: A movie which tells the heartwarming tale of friendship

Friendship is a very beautiful bond shared by two people where they share almost everything which cannot be shared with anyone else. What happens when you are unable to meet people due to extreme situations like lockdown? You will tend to get sad and depressed.  Balcony Buddies is an interactive short film on MX Player released by Amazon and shows how two complete strangers bond with each other from their balconies during the lockdown. They share coffee, yoga classes, send gifts to each other and share all happiness and sadness of their life.  The movie is a refreshing take on friendship and it is extremely watchable with many beautiful moments. The cast is also experienced which makes the movie even more beautiful.

Chhatrasal Web Series Review: A series which tells the tale of a brave and patriotic king

Many heroes have registered their names in history owing to their bravery and valour. One such hero is Bundelkhand King Chhatrsal who was the son of Queen Sarandha who dies fighting the Mughals with her husband. She passed on this legacy to her son Chhatrsal. Chhtarsal was the main reason because of whom Aurangzeb left his dream of conquering India and lived the rest of his life in solace. MX Player has released a series in honour of a brave hero Chhatrasal who fought with Aurangzeb till the very end until he did not submit himself to the cause of religion.  I really like Ashutosh Rana Sir and he is the reason why I watched Chhatrasal. He is the pride and anchor of the series and he proves that an experienced actor will always adapt himself on the screen according to the assigned role.  The series is watchable and you can watch it with everyone in their family as it will help everyone about a brave hero who was an Indian and a proud one just like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

City of Dreams Season 2 Web Series Review: A well deserved sequel to a wonderful series

Nagesh Kuknoor is known for making movies that are unique and out of the box. City of Dreams is made by him and he stands true to the audience's expectations. He is a great craft master and City of Dreams is the proof.  The star cast is great and the political backdrop along with personal issues have been highlighted beautifully in both the seasons of the series. The dispute, fall and rise of people has been shown aptly. The ruthlessness of people and their greed can make anyone do anything.  The competition between father and daughter takes an ugly turn when the daughter's son dies and both daughter and father go missing after winning the elections. The old flames reignite and threatened to destroy the ploy set by the father to defeat his daughter.  Overall, the series is watchable and the background music is credible. The drama, emotions and everything else are set in the right place which keeps you glued till the end of the series.

P.O.W.: Bandi Yuddh Ke Trailer Review: A powerful story filled with patriotism

P.O.W.: Bandi Yuddh Ke is a powerful story of patriotism with a great cast. It was released as a serial initially and now the remaining episodes will be streaming on MX Player. The plot of the series revolves around two Indian soldiers who had been imprisoned during Kargil War and return after 17 years.  The soldiers are now trying to adjust in the society and try to forget about whatever has happened with them in the past. However, there are a few government officials who are not satisfied with who they are order an investigation and psychic evaluation for them.  The trailer looks great and many celebrities have praised the trailer and we hope that the series will be as entertaining as it has been initially.

Bellbottom Trailer Review: Despite lot of females it remains Akshay Kumar film

Bellbottom has been the first film which has been shot in a foreign location after the pandemic. The film will be releasing in theatres instead of an OTT release on August 19 and the trailer of the film has been released online. The trailer starts with a plane being hijacked and soon after we see Lara Dutta in the role of then Prime Minister of India. Her transformation to Indira Gandhi has been done so neatly that people forget that it is actually Lara Dutta playing the role.  Akshay Kumar enters the scene and is seen hitting punches and guns and it feels as if nobody else can become the saviour of the country and he is one of the most searched men even by the Prime Minister. There are some scenes to show Pakistan as the toxic enemy of India.  Then we see that Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi make appearances on the screen. Vaani Kapoor plays the role of Akshay Kumar's love interest and has a very small role to play in the trailer. Similarly, Huma Qureshi is dressed in a burqa and wa

Crimes and Confessions Trailer Review: A trailer where love, lust and passion leads to a henious crime

At times, it so happens that in love, passion and lust we do grave mistakes which cannot be corrected. Crimes and Confessions is an anthology of different stories which discuss how love and passion can lead to crimes after confessing a mistake.  There is a lot of bloodbath in the series. There are five different stories set in different periods which talk about crime due to love. The stories have twisted characters, gender politics, jealousy, greed, love and longing. We get to see different shades of human behaviour and relationships.  There is crime, blood, deceit, manipulation and confession. The trailer looks promising and we hope that the upcoming series released by AltBalaji and MX Player will be as promising as shown in the trailer.

Cartel Trailer Review: A trailer which is full of action, blood and revenge

It is good to see talented actors coming together for a film or series. The trailer of Cartel, an upcoming series by AltBalaji and MX Player promises all the stuff we got to see during the 90s along with a great cast.  The trailer revolves around five crime lords who ruled the city during the 90s and how they carried out their work by twining with politicians, filmmakers, corporate and the judiciary. Initially, all the gang members lived together in peace and harmony according to Rani Mai's treaty.  However, things get disturbed when they try to break out of this treaty and establish their own rule over the city. The trailer has a lot of twists, deceit, manipulation, turns, action and drama and promises to entertain you to the core. The show moves around the Angre family and four other crime leaders of the city.

Shershaah Trailer Review: Siddharth Malhotra looks uncomfortable in this one

It is very difficult to make a movie on a person who has been the major face of the Kargil War and the person is Captain Vikram Batra. He was a brave soul who was martyred at a very ripe age and was another example of bravery, courage and valour.  The movie features Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani and both of them according to me are not suitable for the assigned roles as their chemistry is not visible at all and they look very uncomfortable while performing. After watching the trailer, I felt that some other actor and actress would have played the role perfectly and this might not prove to be a perfect tribute to the person who has been the pride of the Indian Army.

Ankahi Ansuni: Jhaagi Files Review: A series with a great plot and cast

Hotstar Quix series Ankahi Ansuni: Jhaagi Files is perhaps one of the best series I have watched on Hotstar. The series has a great plot and focuses on different stories every time which is spooky and superstitious at first but after a point of time, they are nothing but rumours.  The series is very well made and the cast is good at portraying the characters they are given. The series keep you glued to the screens till the very end but there is one request from Hotstar Quix to release at least three to four episodes in a day and reduce ads as they cause disruptions and one episode each day kills the excitement and thrill of the story.  All said and done, the series is still great and if you do not want to watch it daily you can watch them on a weekend as it can prove to be a good time pass with a great storyline.
