Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly accused of Gang Rape

 


Popular Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly, a film producer and four other people have been accused of gang rape and other charges. The complaint has been lodged by the survivor who said that she has been sexually abused in Dubai a lot of times between November 1 and December 15. 

In the complaint, she had said the woman, Shreya had promised her a job as a caretaker in Europe and took her to Dubai after that to introduce her to those who were connected to Mollywood for securing a role in the films. 

Pauly has said that these accusations are baseless and are being done to defame him. The accused has said she was locked in a room and was not given food or water and when the water was given it was filled with drugs. The victim's phone was with the accused and she was blackmailed if she did not obey them the actor would kill her family. 

There is a lot of trouble going on in the Malayalam film industry as many prominent actors and leaders are getting named in such cases after the release of the Hema Committee Report. This really comes as a shock to everybody who initially thought that the South film industry was much better than Bollywood.

Venom: The Last Dance final trailer released online

Sony Pictures has released the final trailer of Venom: The Last Dance. Tom Hardy returns in the final part as Eddie Brock also known as the Venom in the Spide-Man comics for the last film in the trilogy. Alongwith Hardy, the cast has Juno Temple, Peggy Lu, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Stephen Graham, Alanna Ubach and Rhys Ifans. Kelly Marcel who has written and produced the previous Venom films Directed Last Dance from a screenplay she had written. Marcel and Hardy developed Venom 3's story and have made it with Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Matt Tolmach and Hutch Parker. Joe Caracciolo Jr. is the executive producer.  Hardy's previous two comic adaptations Venom and Venom: Let There Be Cranage opened in October beginning in different years. IC 814 Kandahar Hijacking Netflix Controversy

IC 814 Kandahar Hijacking has been released on Netflix recently and has already started creating controversy. There was a meeting of Netflix with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Tuesday and the OTT giant has committed that they will review their content so that they do not hurt the national sentiments of the country.  The series has created controversy because of the hijackers who were involved in the 1999 Indian Airlines hijacking. They have been given nicknames like Burger, Bhola, Shankar, Cheif and Doctor. Some people think this type of characterization shows the hijackers in a human light, leading to public outbursts.  The ministry demanded an explanation from Netflix India about such kind of insensitive and harmful elements in the series as there are real-life elements depicted in the series.
