Is it high time that movies should be made on reality and not fantasy?

Most of us have grown up watching movies and somehow have always believed that whatever happens in movies should also occur in real life. But is that really the case? I think many people will say that it is not the case. I also say the same. The idea of romance which has been spoonfed through movies is not at all possible in real life as one cannot fall in love in one look and get married in the next.

There have been many realistic movies in recent times which connect with people and that is why become a hit. However, the reality is that we still watch those fantasy films which does not connect with us and then we blame the industry for making such films. The string of recent flops however has assured that people have become more aware as to what they are watching.

It now seems that Bollywood should try to understand the gravity of the situation and try making films which are appropriate and suitable for the audience otherwise nobody will waste their hard-earned money on watching such movies which are completely mindless and have nothing new to offer.
