Tryst with Destiny Trailer Review: A title which has caused debates among audiences

Tryst with Destiny is a powerful speech given by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru when India got independence. Drishyam Films a house that is known to deliver movies with a powerful message has produced the movie which is an anthology of four stories.

The title of the movie is enough to start a controversy amongst the audiences as people are curious to know why exactly the title has been named Tryst with Destiny. The film is a detailed take on social issues in the real world. It was the only Indian film that went to Tribeca Film Festival 2020.

It was appreciated and recognized by international critics and won Best Screen Play at the festival. The movie is directed by Prashant Nair and has some outstanding performers including Victor Banerjee, Lillette Dubey, Vineet Kumar Singh, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Ashish Vidyarthi, Ishwak Singh, Palomi Ghosh, Jaideep Ahlawat, Geetanjali Thapa, Amit Sial and Kani Kusruti.

The movie has been written by Neeraj Pandey, Prashant Nair and Avani Deshpande.

National Pepper Pot Day: A dish that won the war

National Pepper Pot Day is celebrated to remember the dish that was nicknamed as the soup which won the war. The day is marked annually on December 29. There was a very terrible and ruthless cold in 1777-1778. The Continental Army was fighting for the newly formed United States of America during the Revolutionary War. As the soldiers camped at Valley Forge in 1997 on December 29, George Washington asked the chef of the army to make a meal which would warm them and boost their spirits. The chef took some tripe, pieces of meat, pepper and other ingredients and made Pepper Pot Soup, which was also known as Philadelphia Pepper Pot Soup.
