Sanak: Ek Junoon Trailer Review: A series where compromises are made to turn dreams into reality


Dreams are at times not realized easily. One has to compromise on their moral grounds only to realize a dream which they have been visualizing for a long time. A junior lawyer named Ajay Purohit featuring Rohit Bose Roy tells his wife that he will always love her no matter what the situation is. 

The couple who come from a small town to the city of dreams faces some or other situations. Ajay is called on the upper floor which makes him elated as he feels that now he will climb on the top of his career. Little does he know that his moral principles and core will be compromised in this situation. 

Ajay is eager to achieve success at all costs and whether he would protect his love when the ambition comes in his way is the main core of the series. 

The ensemble cast consisting of Rohit Bose Roy, Aindrita Ray, Pawan Chopra, Antara Banerjee, Rushad Rana, Harpreet Jatail, Tasneem Ali, Rishi Deshpande and Amaara Sangam makes the audience even more excited about the series which is going to stream on MX Player from October 16.

Maharani: A web series which has shown Rabri Devi to be a pseudo intellectual

Sony Liv has released a new web series called Maharani which is said to be based on the lives of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi. However, this series has faced a lot of backlash and criticism because it has shown how Rabri worked for Bihar but the people of Bihar say that this series is cleaning the image of Rabri Devi.  The series shows how an illiterate lady who has no interest at all in politics and is happy with the normal life she is leading. She is relieved when her husband says that he will resign from the post of Bihar CM as he is shot.  Little did she know that she will be made the CM of Bihar as Bhima, her husband is unable to discharge his duties as a CM. Ravi Teja starrer Mr Bachchan releases on OTT

Ravi Teja's action drama movie titled Mr Bachchan which created a lot of hype before its release failed to create magic at the box office. The movie is directed by Harish Shankar and was released in theatres on 15th August this year. The movie is now available on Netflix.  The movie is adapted from Raid where Ajay Devgn played the lead. However, the Telugu version has its own way of showing the film. The movie is about an Income Tax officer played by Ravi Teja who raids the house of a corrupt MP played by Jagapathi Babu.  The film marks the debut of Bhagyashri Borse who plays Teja's love interest, Jikki. Despite the wonderful plot and Ravi Teja's fan following the film could not bring audiences to the theatres.
