The Empire Trailer Review: A desi twist to the Game of Thrones series

Hotstar has released many series which are quite watchable and the trailer of its upcoming series The Empire has been released and it looks quite interesting and many people have called it to be an Indian version of Game of Thrones.

The series has been inspired by a book named Empire of the Moghul: Raiders from the North by Alex Rutherford. The series shows the journey of Emperor Babur from Ferghana to Samarkand and beyond that.

The series marks the digital debut of Kunal Kapoor and is said to be the biggest show made in India. It has been directed by Mitakshara Kumar and adapted by Bhavani Iyer. The show is produced by Emmay Entertainment and has been shot in Uzbekistan and India.

The show also features Drashti Dhami, Aditya Seal, Sahher Bambba, Rahul Dev, Dino Morea and Shabana Azmi. It will be releasing on August 27 on Disney+ Hotstar.

Ravi Teja starrer Mr Bachchan releases on OTT

Ravi Teja's action drama movie titled Mr Bachchan which created a lot of hype before its release failed to create magic at the box office. The movie is directed by Harish Shankar and was released in theatres on 15th August this year. The movie is now available on Netflix. The movie is adapted from Raid where Ajay Devgn played the lead. However, the Telugu version has its own way of showing the film. The movie is about an Income Tax officer played by Ravi Teja who raids the house of a corrupt MP played by Jagapathi Babu. The film marks the debut of Bhagyashri Borse who plays Teja's love interest, Jikki. Despite the wonderful plot and Ravi Teja's fan following the film could not bring audiences to the theatres. Venom: The Last Dance final trailer released online

Sony Pictures has released the final trailer of Venom: The Last Dance. Tom Hardy returns in the final part as Eddie Brock also known as the Venom in the Spide-Man comics for the last film in the trilogy. Alongwith Hardy, the cast has Juno Temple, Peggy Lu, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Stephen Graham, Alanna Ubach and Rhys Ifans. Kelly Marcel who has written and produced the previous Venom films Directed Last Dance from a screenplay she had written. Marcel and Hardy developed Venom 3's story and have made it with Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Matt Tolmach and Hutch Parker. Joe Caracciolo Jr. is the executive producer. Hardy's previous two comic adaptations Venom and Venom: Let There Be Cranage opened in October beginning in different years. The first film, directed by Ruben Fleischer, collected $856 at the box office while the second, directed by Andy Serkis, collected $502 worldwide in the pandemic.
