Mimi Movie Review: A movie which is a Shakesperean comedy even if we call it comedy

Today, we see a lot of movies made on real-life stories. This makes them all the more special. Mimi although has been adapted from a story and Marathi film justifies itself completely. Though the movie has been classified as a comedy, but the comedy is Shakesperean as all's well that ends well have been the theme of Shakespeare's plays.

The movie is about a girl who has inspirations and dreams of going to Bollywood but to earn money becomes a surrogate mother. At first, her motto is pure money but as time passes and the couple who wants the child run away she emotionally gets attached with the child and does not abort it.

As the movie proceeds, the couple comes back for the baby but ultimately they realize that Mimi is happy with the kid and they adopt a girl and leave the country. The movie is great and soothing to the eyes. The performances are lovely and heart touching. The movie can make it to your must-watch list.

Ravi Teja starrer Mr Bachchan releases on OTT

Ravi Teja's action drama movie titled Mr Bachchan which created a lot of hype before its release failed to create magic at the box office. The movie is directed by Harish Shankar and was released in theatres on 15th August this year. The movie is now available on Netflix. The movie is adapted from Raid where Ajay Devgn played the lead. However, the Telugu version has its own way of showing the film. The movie is about an Income Tax officer played by Ravi Teja who raids the house of a corrupt MP played by Jagapathi Babu. The film marks the debut of Bhagyashri Borse who plays Teja's love interest, Jikki. Despite the wonderful plot and Ravi Teja's fan following the film could not bring audiences to the theatres. Venom: The Last Dance final trailer released online

Sony Pictures has released the final trailer of Venom: The Last Dance. Tom Hardy returns in the final part as Eddie Brock also known as the Venom in the Spide-Man comics for the last film in the trilogy. Alongwith Hardy, the cast has Juno Temple, Peggy Lu, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Stephen Graham, Alanna Ubach and Rhys Ifans. Kelly Marcel who has written and produced the previous Venom films Directed Last Dance from a screenplay she had written. Marcel and Hardy developed Venom 3's story and have made it with Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Matt Tolmach and Hutch Parker. Joe Caracciolo Jr. is the executive producer. Hardy's previous two comic adaptations Venom and Venom: Let There Be Cranage opened in October beginning in different years. The first film, directed by Ruben Fleischer, collected $856 at the box office while the second, directed by Andy Serkis, collected $502 worldwide in the pandemic.
