Flora and fauna are very important to bring a balance to the planet and make it more livable. Different plants and animals attract us and thus it is our moral duty to protect them from further extinction. The day is internationally celebrated across the world to celebrate the plants and animals across the world.
The General Assembly in its resolution has recognized the value and benefits of wildlife including scientific, social, economic, cultural, educational, recreational, genetic, ecological, aesthetic, recreational and its contribution towards sustainable development and well being of humans.
There are different themes every year on World Wildlife Day which focus on different animals and plants every year. The day makes us aware of different animals and plants on the planet that might be on the verge of extinction and the ways to save them.
On this day, we should try to conserve animals and contribute towards saving them as much as possible by donating to the NGOs who work towards saving them.
