National Flapjack Day: A day to indulge in nutritious and wholesome sweet item

Flapjack Day gives us goodness and a hot flavour. The objective behind celebrating the day is to honour wholesome and hard cakes which have been made for generations. Recipes are brought down from grandmother to son and mother to daughter to bring smiles across the world. 

Flapjacks were actually wholesome food for those who guarded the frontier. It had energy and nutrients and they provided the fuel needed to stand the hard trials. The flapjacks remind us of grandma's kitchen where the coffee was fresh. 

The flapjacks were topped with fresh blueberries and real maple syrup. Today, the toppings on flapjacks can be thick sliced bananas, nut butter, walnuts or pecans or fresh whipped cream. The aroma and flavour of flapjacks is something that stays with you irrespective of where you are. 

On this day, one can make flapjacks by looking at the recipes online or purchase them from the market. You can also gift them to your loved ones as they are tasty and healthy.

Maharani: A web series which has shown Rabri Devi to be a pseudo intellectual

Sony Liv has released a new web series called Maharani which is said to be based on the lives of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi. However, this series has faced a lot of backlash and criticism because it has shown how Rabri worked for Bihar but the people of Bihar say that this series is cleaning the image of Rabri Devi.  The series shows how an illiterate lady who has no interest at all in politics and is happy with the normal life she is leading. She is relieved when her husband says that he will resign from the post of Bihar CM as he is shot.  Little did she know that she will be made the CM of Bihar as Bhima, her husband is unable to discharge his duties as a CM. Ravi Teja starrer Mr Bachchan releases on OTT

Ravi Teja's action drama movie titled Mr Bachchan which created a lot of hype before its release failed to create magic at the box office. The movie is directed by Harish Shankar and was released in theatres on 15th August this year. The movie is now available on Netflix.  The movie is adapted from Raid where Ajay Devgn played the lead. However, the Telugu version has its own way of showing the film. The movie is about an Income Tax officer played by Ravi Teja who raids the house of a corrupt MP played by Jagapathi Babu.  The film marks the debut of Bhagyashri Borse who plays Teja's love interest, Jikki. Despite the wonderful plot and Ravi Teja's fan following the film could not bring audiences to the theatres.
