Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was one of the best leaders born in India. He was perhaps one of the bravest souls who never feared anything and anybody and did whatever he felt right for the nation. He shook the Mughal Empire to its core and started Maratha rule.

He captured Torna, Kondana and Raigad forts at a very young age which proved his power and strength. He used Sanskrit and Marathi in his court extensively rather than Persian which was a popular court language of the era.

His stories, legends and tales have been preached by millions of people throughout different generations. All the mediums of storytelling including films have captured the life of Shivaji Bhonsle in great detail.
