Lala Lajpat Rai has been one of the active and a solid activist who helped India in gaining Independence. He was one of the trios in the Lal Bal Pal group. He traveled to America and wrote a travelogue that has quotes from American and African intellectuals.
He was a part of the Indian National Congress and participated in the political agitation of Punjab. He also participated in the protests against Simon Commission as the Commission did not have a single Indian in its committee.
He was fatally injured as he was personally assaulted during the protests and died because of the injuries. After his death, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev and Azad exacted their revenge by attacking the British Parliament.
