We often suffer from mental problems at one point or another but try to hide it from people as everybody thinks that you are mad and they take you to a psychiatrist. In India, mental health is considered that a person has gone crazy and not in his senses.
It is very difficult for people to accept that mental health is as important as physical health and its untimely treatment can lead to further deterioration in the condition of a person. A person might not turn crazy in case of mental health but his body might not support him to make sound decisions.
People should stop taking mental health as a sign of a person's weakness and rather support them, motivate them and make them healthy in whatever way they can. A doctor should be consulted only if the condition worsens and does not improve.
On this World Mental Health Day, let us try to understand different types of mental health conditions and how they can be cured for a healthy and effective lifestyle of an individual.
