Hindi Diwas: Celebrate your mother tongue with pride

Hindi has been the pride of Indians since olden times. People continued to modify Sanskrit and slowly made Hindi as its easier version. Hindi has given us a separate identity and image around the globe.

Swami Vivekananda as we all know went to the United States of America and when everybody was laughing at him due to his attire, language or his values, he spoke in Hindi at a conference where all Englishmen were sitting.

This was perhaps the first time as Indian had stood up for himself on an international platform. Since then, we have witnessed many orators speaking in Hindi at international platforms.

However, today we see that Hindi is vanishing from our culture. People are ashamed to speak in Hindi as they think it to be an insult to their knowledge. Remember one thing always, English was, is and always be a second language. As foreigners take pride in their langauge, why can't we as Indians take pride to speak Hindi?

Ravi Teja starrer Mr Bachchan releases on OTT

Ravi Teja's action drama movie titled Mr Bachchan which created a lot of hype before its release failed to create magic at the box office. The movie is directed by Harish Shankar and was released in theatres on 15th August this year. The movie is now available on Netflix. The movie is adapted from Raid where Ajay Devgn played the lead. As we all know that the schools have been closed due to COVID 19 pandemic and the students have been taking online classes from the last few months. Online classes are becoming the biggest failures in India. Some of the reasons for the failure of online classes are bad internet connectivity. National Pepper Pot Day: A dish that won the war

National Pepper Pot Day is celebrated to remember the dish that was nicknamed as the soup which won the war. The day is marked annually on December 29. There was a very terrible and ruthless cold in 1777-1778. The Continental Army was fighting for the newly formed United States of America during the Revolutionary War. As the soldiers camped at Valley Forge in 1997 on December 29, George Washington asked the chef of the army to make a meal which would warm them and boost their spirits. The chef took some tripe, pieces of meat, pepper and other ingredients and made Pepper Pot Soup, which was also known as Philadelphia Pepper Pot Soup. The soup was enjoyed by the troops and nicknamed as the soup which won the war. The day can be enjoyed by making Pepper Pot Soup and the recipe of the same is available online.
