Why is Sex Education Considered as Taboo in India?

Sex is a topic that everyone wants to know about but do not discuss openly. In India, we observe that parents do not want to discuss sex with children and they are left in dark. They get all the wrong ideas about sex after watching blue films. 

Sex is considered to be a taboo in Indian society which is not to be discussed openly. People think that if they discuss sex openly they will be termed as having a dirty mind. Children need to know about sex from their loved ones so that they do not go on the wrong path and indulge in activities that might make you regret your decision. 

It is high time that parents should discuss sex with their children and the schools should also provide sex education so that the children come to know about the intricacies of sex and do not have to go out for wrong ways to know more about it.
