Why is Bollywood Silent on National Issues and Violent On International Issues?

Why Bollywood celebs' stoic silence on migrant issues & violence ...

Recently, we have witnessed an incident where George Floyd a black died from coronavirus and a white police officer knelt on his neck for nine minutes. It was however said that the man was killed in police custody. After the incident went viral on social media, Bollywood celebs started supporting blacks.

India has been one of the primary discriminators of black and white in the world by promoting all kinds of fairness creams which shows how white skin is much better and beautiful than black skin. Girls get discriminated due to black skin because they will not get married to anyone if their skin is not fair.

All the actresses who are supporting blacks have done fairness cream ads on one point or another and when they come to support people it feels very fake and hypocritic on their part. Nobody, in fact, none of the actors were against the killings of Palghar Sadhus and now they are coming out and opening their arguments for black.

Any national issue whether it is release of Manu Sharma from jail or Nirbahaya case death sentence was not even raised or appreciated by the stars and one international issue suddenly made them rise and stand against whites. Is it justified on their part? The country has been going through so much and they do not care at all as if they are living in some other fairyland.

I think the stars should either stop commenting on international issues or treat national issues similar to the way they treat international issues otherwise they will always be criticized on the issues they raise their voice on.
