As we celebrate International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26, its important to understand the impact of both the evils around the world. First, let us discuss drug abuse. Drug abuse has plagued the world for a long time. 

Many youths around the world have been either forced to take drugs or have been taking drugs for long despite knowing the consequences of the same. Drug abuse is one of the heinous crimes committed by people despite the governments of various countries putting a ban on the same.  

Coming to illicit trafficking we see that mostly the underdeveloped or developing countries are affected by it. People who do not have money sell their kids to a rich person who uses them the way he likes. The kids are wither forced into this or they are pampered in doing this. 

Despite all the strict measures, illicit trafficking is still done by many people through various means of transport. There should be more stringent measures regarding both the evils so that they can be removed from grass root level and the world becomes a safer place to live in.

Maharani: A web series which has shown Rabri Devi to be a pseudo intellectual

Sony Liv has released a new web series called Maharani which is said to be based on the lives of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi. However, this series has faced a lot of backlash and criticism because it has shown how Rabri worked for Bihar but the people of Bihar say that this series is cleaning the image of Rabri Devi.  The series shows how an illiterate lady who has no interest at all in politics and is happy with the normal life she is leading. Ravi Teja starrer Mr Bachchan releases on OTT

Ravi Teja's action drama movie titled Mr Bachchan which created a lot of hype before its release failed to create magic at the box office. The movie is directed by Harish Shankar and was released in theatres on 15th August this year. The movie is now available on Netflix.  The movie is adapted from Raid where Ajay Devgn played the lead. However, the Telugu version has its own way of showing the film. The movie is about an Income Tax officer played by Ravi Teja who raids the house of a corrupt MP played by Jagapathi Babu.  The film marks the debut of Bhagyashri Borse who plays Teja's love interest, Jikki. Despite the wonderful plot and Ravi Teja's fan following the film could not bring audiences to the theatres.
