How to Keep Yourself Entertained During Lockdown



Lockdown due to coronavirus has brought the life of everybody to a screeching halt. People have become really tensed and nervous about when will the lockdown get over or how long it will last. It is very difficult to keep yourself high in spirits during the period. Some of the activities which can help you in diverting your mind from the current situation are. 

1. Painting
Painting can make a lasting impression on people especially if you are the creator behind the same. There are many videos on YouTube that will help you in painting with watercolors or acrylics. All you need is a set of paints and brushes, color pallets,  paper or canvas to paint on which can be purchased online. 


If you love doing adventure, you can go for contemporary abstract or line work which is in fashion these days especially for interior decoration. 

2. Learn a Language 

It so happens that you might have a passion for learning a language other than Hindi or English but there were no opportunities for the same. Now is the time when you can learn and gain command over a language. There is a learning app called Babbel which is good for beginners or for those who are wanting to polish their language further.  


The app gives you real feedback and engages you in conversation so that you can be confident about talking on different topics. There is a lot of learning material and 14 languages that can be chosen to keep oneself busy. 

3. Knitting 

Knitting is an old school hobby that cannot go out of fashion. There are different types of knitting videos available on YouTube for beginners with all the intricate details of patterns and colors. By the time the lockdown is over, you might have something new in your wardrobe.  


4. Gardening 

If you have a green patch outside your house you can take up gardening. You can search almost everything on Google regarding keeping the soil healthy, attracting new wildlife to the garden and tending the plants. 


You will get ultimate satisfaction in planting seeds, cleaning weeds and watching your hard work bearing fruits. There will always be an enjoyable and relaxing space for you while you are at home. 

5. Yoga 

Yoga is great for mind, body and soul. Besides relaxing, it also helps you in keeping fit and healthy. There are numerous channels on YouTube where you can learn about different yoga postures which can be done in your home or garden. You can go for stretching if you are looking for a flexible body.

Ravi Teja starrer Mr Bachchan releases on OTT

Ravi Teja's action drama movie titled Mr Bachchan which created a lot of hype before its release failed to create magic at the box office. The movie is directed by Harish Shankar and was released in theatres on 15th August this year. The movie is now available on Netflix.  The movie is adapted from Raid where Ajay Devgn played the lead. However, the Telugu version has its own way of showing the film. The movie is about an Income Tax officer played by Ravi Teja who raids the house of a corrupt MP played by Jagapathi Babu.  The film marks the debut of Bhagyashri Borse who plays Teja's love interest, Jikki. Despite the wonderful plot and Ravi Teja's fan following the film could not bring audiences to the theatres. Venom: The Last Dance final trailer released online

Sony Pictures has released the final trailer of Venom: The Last Dance. Tom Hardy returns in the final part as Eddie Brock also known as the Venom in the Spide-Man comics for the last film in the trilogy. Alongwith Hardy, the cast has Juno Temple, Peggy Lu, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Stephen Graham, Alanna Ubach and Rhys Ifans. Kelly Marcel who has written and produced the previous Venom films Directed Last Dance from a screenplay she had written. Marcel and Hardy developed Venom 3's story and have made it with Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Matt Tolmach and Hutch Parker. Joe Caracciolo Jr. is the executive producer.  Hardy's previous two comic adaptations Venom and Venom: Let There Be Cranage opened in October beginning in different years.
