9 Heart Wrenching Movies of Irrfan Khan

It is very hard to believe that one of the versatile actors of the industry, Irrfan Khan is no longer with us. His acting, expressions and his body language said everything about his character. His journey from TV to Bollywood to Hollywood has been filled with struggles. He is the person who teaches you if you believe in something, you will definitely achieve it. He was himself an institute of cinema who has acted in comedy as well as serious movies. Some of the movies which are particularly liked by me are being elaborated below.

1. Paan Singh Tomar

No one could have done the role of Paan Singh Tomar to such perfection he did. The accent, the body language and dialogue delivery were quite good. You lived with his character in the movie and he made us understand that a dacoit is not born but is made due to different circumstances.

2. The Lunchbox

The Lunchbox is one of those movies where we get to see Irrfan Khan at his best. No one would have done the role with such conviction the way he did. His loneliness, nature and everything connects us with him.

3. Rog

Rog is a movie where Irrfan played the role of a cop to perfection. His falling in love with a model who is presumed to be dead and saving her from all when she appears alive in front of all makes the movie a gripping thriller.

4. Kamla Ki Maut

The movie was released in 90s and is way ahead of its time. The love affairs of each character is shown in the movie. It is hidden to all but known only to the specific character. Irrfan plays the role of a lover and he can be related to all the real-life lovers and their expectations. The movie shows the reality of society.

5. Ek Doctor Ki Maut

The movie is set in 90s era and follows the story of a doctor who is never credited for his invention. The doctor does not really die in the movie but somewhere his soul is dead. Irrfan is in the role of a reporter who supports the doctor in his research and tries to bring out his invention to the world which ultimately gets foiled.

6. Salaam Bombay

Salaam Bombay was directed by Mira Nair and tells the stroy of Mumbai slums and lives of people in those slums. Irrfan is in a small role as a letter-writer. His short performance brought him to the notice of people and it was his first film though he never got credited for it.

7. New York

New York is a movie based on the 9/11 attacks that happened in New York and directed by Kabir Khan. Khan in the role of an FBI officer does complete justice to his role and gives a really nice performance.

8. Jurassic World

Irrfan once said that he did not have money to buy tickets for Jurrasic Park. He acted in Jurrasic World with great conviction. His role was short yet appealing. The makers of the movie released a poster on Twitter of the movie with Irrfan's photo when he passed away as a tribute to the actor.

9. The Amazing Spider-Man

He played the role of Dr. Rajit Ratha in the movie. His role was brief but important for the movie. He did this film only because of his children so that they know what their father does.

I know there are many other movies where Irrfan Khan was at his best but I could write only 9 of them. Some of his other good movies include Billu, Angrezi Medium, Hindi Medium, Madaari, Blackmail, Karwaan and many others. This article is a tribute to the actor and a wonderful human being. Thank You Irrfan for giving us some wonderful movies and you will always rule our hearts.

How Floods have Effected Human Beings and Wildlife

Floods are a natural calamity that ruins houses, wildlife, crops and takes life of many people as well. People were already suffering from COVID 19 and the floods made it even more worse this year. The people were not safe inside their houses as well.  Floods forced everyone to come outside their houses and gather in a single place or ask for help. The condition of the people had become very miserable and the government came forward to help them in these tragic times.  They tried their best to help the people by providing them food and shelter so that they are not rendered homeless. There were many non-governmental organizations that came forward and helped the people in times of need and emergency.  It is really saddening to see the situation that has taken over the world and we can only hope and pray that things are returned to their complete normal self so that everybody can leave peacefully and comfortably.

Maharani: A web series which has shown Rabri Devi to be a pseudo intellectual

Sony Liv has released a new web series called Maharani which is said to be based on the lives of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi. However, this series has faced a lot of backlash and criticism because it has shown how Rabri worked for Bihar but the people of Bihar say that this series is cleaning the image of Rabri Devi.  The series shows how an illiterate lady who has no interest at all in politics and is happy with the normal life she is leading. She is relieved when her husband says that he will resign from the post of Bihar CM as he is shot.  Little did she know that she will be made the CM of Bihar as Bhima, her husband is unable to discharge his duties as a CM. At first, she is very reluctant to go to the CM office as she is underconfident and cannot speak fluently. She slowly gains confidence when people understand the work she is doing and she becomes the favourite of the Bihar people and ultimately gains their trust. However, the series is faulty on many grounds. Fir...

Ravi Teja's action drama movie titled Mr Bachchan which created a lot of hype before its release failed to create magic at the box office. The movie is directed by Harish Shankar and was released in theatres on 15th August this year. The movie is now available on Netflix.  The movie is adapted from Raid where Ajay Devgn played the lead. However, the Telugu version has its own way of showing the film. The movie is about an Income Tax officer played by Ravi Teja who raids the house of a corrupt MP played by Jagapathi Babu.  The film marks the debut of Bhagyashri Borse who plays Teja's love interest, Jikki. Despite the wonderful plot and Ravi Teja's fan following the film could not bring audiences to the theatres. After 27 days of running in the theatres, the film is now available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada on Netflix.  The film also has Sachin Khedekar, Subhalekha Sudhakar and Satya. The lack of a box office collection of the film also led to a great gesture fr...
