Jhund Trailer Review: Amitabh Bachchan shines in the trailer of the film


The trailer of Jhund has been released online where we see Amitabh Bachchan with the chillar party of Jhund. The film is inspired by the real-life story of the Slum Soccer Foundation coach and founder Vijay Barse. Barse is the man who gave football in the hands of slum children and made their careers.

The trailer of the movie starts with molestation, robbery, poor living in slums and drugged youth. The scenes are shocking, disturbing and emotional which connects them with the audiences. Vijay played by Amitabh Bachchan hands football to slum-dwellers and helps them in choosing the right path. 

Vijay is called a mad man by everyone as he makes the whole college a slum by bringing these children to the ground. Vijay sets aside everything and with his passion, he changes the life of these children. He once fails to save the lives of the children but ultimately succeeds due to his noble intentions. 

The dialogues of the film are excellent. The voice of Big B gives the dialogues more power and strength. The character of Vijay Barse has been portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan wonderfully and he brings out tears in the eyes of the audience with the emotional scenes. 

Nagraj Poaptrao Manjule, the director has not put any forceful humor or masala in the film. The art and experience of Manjule and Bachchan Sr. can be seen in the trailer. Their pairing is great and like Sairat we can expect this movie to be a blockbuster as well.

National Pepper Pot Day: A dish that won the war

National Pepper Pot Day is celebrated to remember the dish that was nicknamed as the soup which won the war. The day is marked annually on December 29. There was a very terrible and ruthless cold in 1777-1778.  The Continental Army was fighting for the newly formed United States of America during the Revolutionary War. As the soldiers camped at Valley Forge in 1997 on December 29, George Washington asked the chef of the army to make a meal which would warm them and boost their spirits.  The chef took some tripe, pieces of meat, pepper and other ingredients and made Pepper Pot Soup, which was also known as Philadelphia Pepper Pot Soup.
