Ray: A series which is painfully long and monotonous

It is very interesting when a noted filmmaker and writer stories are presented before the public to commemorate his style of filmmaking. The adaptations if not made to the mark can lead to criticism and lynching. Ray is the latest anthology on Netflix which adapts Satyajit Ray's stories.

Though I have never watched Ray's movies or read his stories I can say that this is not an adaptation that even Satyajit Rai would have appreciated. The stories keep on stretching themselves on and on and it is a painful experience to watch the series.

There is no doubt that the cast and crew have done a wonderful job in the series but there is a problem with the adaptation. The series could have been better if the stories had a shorter duration.

Some of my favourite actors in the series have like Kay Kay Menon, Bidita Bag, Manoj Bajpayee, Gajraj Rao and  Radhika Madan have given good performances. Regarding others, some shine while others lose themselves in the crowd.

You can watch Ray only if you do not have anything else to watch otherwise it can be conveniently skipped. The series is not a perfect tribute to Satyajit Ray.

Online classes are becoming the biggest failures in India. Some of the reasons for the failure of online classes are bad internet connectivity. Despite knowing that all the work around the world is being done online, the cellular networks are not increasing their network speed due to which the class gets hampered.  One of the other reasons can be that students do not have a habit to take classes online and that also on laptops and computers. They do not learn until they get scolded or shouted upon. That system has completely led to the failure of the classes as you do not know whether your concepts are clear to the students or not.  The teachers are also facing a lot of issues in taking online classes as all the matter needs to be written well before hand so that the explanation becomes easier. The setting up of the class like env...

Hari Merdeka: The day when Malaysia Got Freedom

Everybody wants to have freedom in their lives. Nobody loves to be someone's slave. Malaysia was also under the clutches of different countries ruling them and when the country got its freedom on 31st August 1957 the joy and enthusiasm of people knew no bounds.  They celebrated the day with a lot of pomp and joy and there are many official and unofficial ceremonies and observances on this day. There are many controversies surrounding the day but the fact is that people celebrate the freedom of Malaysia on this day.  The day is very special to all the residents of Malaysia and like India, they also have programs and ceremonies on this day to remember the most important day of their country.
