National Pistachio Day: A day to understand the health benefits of a dry fruit

Pistachio Day is one of the best days for all pistachio lovers to indulge in a wonderful snack that is tasty as well as healthy in many respects. If you are not fond of having pistachios, you can gift them to someone who loves having them. Pistachios also work as a flavouring for ice creams, sweets and cakes.

The pistachios came to the US in the 1880s but they have been in the Middle East since Biblical Times. The pistachio tree grows as tall as 20 feet and requires little or no rain but lots of heat. Iran boasts of having 700-year-old pistachio trees. A new tree takes around 7 to 10 years to mature and bear fruit.

Pistachios are majorly grown in California and their shells automatically split when they ripe. Pistachio is known as a smiling nut in the Middle east. Chinese call pistachio as a happy nut. The kernels are eaten whole either roasted or unroasted and salted or unsalted.

The shells of pistachios are beige in colour which are dyed by companies green or red according to consumer demands or if the nuts are not of good quality. You can celebrate this day by consuming pistachios in any form or gifting them to your loved ones.

How online education is proving to be the biggest failure in India

As we all know that the schools have been closed due to COVID 19 pandemic and the students have been taking online classes from the last few months. Online classes are becoming the biggest failures in India. Some of the reasons for the failure of online classes are bad internet connectivity. Despite knowing that all the work around the world is being done online, the cellular networks are not increasing their network speed due to which the class gets hampered.  One of the other reasons can be that students do not have a habit to take classes online and that also on laptops and computers. They do not learn until they get scolded or shouted upon. That system has completely led to the failure of the classes as you do not know whether your concepts are clear to the students or not.  The teachers are also facing a lot of issues in taking online classes as all the matter needs to be written well before hand so that the explanation becomes easier.
