How Far is it Right for Indian Cinema to glorify Women as Objects before Audience?

We all might have witnessed Indian cinema has time and again taken pride in the fact that they can objectify women like none another medium of viewing. Time and again males have been reminded that a girl wearing a short dress is meant to woo them.

Let me clear you the fact here that a girl can woo a boy through salwar kameez and sari also and there is no need for them to wear a short dress and secondly, the seduction shown should be in a positive light and not something like we saw in Darr that the guy can kill himself or someone else just for the girl.

Forcing a girl to love you or taking revenge from her for not loving you back is not something a sane person would do. If someone does not love you, it is better to move on rather than holding on to them and becoming a psychopath in the process.

Filmmakers should understand the fact that people do not want to hear Munni Badnam Hui from them. Why only Munni gets badnam why not Munna? Why don't we reverse the roles of men and women once to make sure who is the victim?

Indian cinema should move from glorifying women as objects and bring them out as a strong, independent individual who can take care of themselves and fight with the world with all their power and might.
