Kota Factory Season 2 Web Series Review: A well deserved sequel of a wonderful series

Kota Factory has been one of the most loved series by TVF. An IIT aspirant's life is shown beautifully in the movie besides weaving a romantic angle to the story. The series is back with the second season and the series again impresses us with its storyline.  Jeetu Bhaiya as Jeetendra is fondly called in the series is back with a bang to help an IIT aspirant who is unable to understand what to do in the future. Though not from an engineering background, the series has kept me hooked in the first season and TVF is known for making realistic stories. The series is indeed one of the series produced recently and it can easily make it to your must-watch list as it has all the wonderful elements to keep you hooked till the end.

Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai Movie Review: A movie which has a great idea but bad execution

Sonam Gupta has created quite a hype when a note carrying the message Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai circulated all over. Everybody was curious to know who this Sonam Gupta is and the movie based on this question has been recently released on Zee5.  The movie starts with a great concept but fails to maintain it till the end. On the writing part, the script is really weak despite having a good star cast. The movie is an entertainer but to some extent. The movie does not require brains to watch. Overall, the movie can be a one time watch but is not an ideal binge-watch as it fails to fulfil its purpose of delivering the answer to the question.

Ek Thi Begum Season 2 Trailer Review: A series which is back with more suspense and thriller

Ek Thi Begum was one of the most loved series from MX Player. It showed how a normal household lady went on to become a gang leader. The series is returning with the second season with the same cast and the trailer looks quite interesting.  The trailer has all the elements of suspense, thrill and is packed with action. Anuja Sathe is back in the role of Begum and no doubt that she is great in whats he does. The series follows the story of a woman called Leela Paswan who makes her identity in a man's world and everybody in power is looking for her. If we go by trailer then the series looks very interesting and something to look out for.

Nakaab Web Series Review: A series which is a cheap take on tragedy

Nakaab is a series full of suspense and thrill and starts with the murder of a famous TV actor. The series investigates whether the death is a suicide or murder. The series brings directors, producers and actors under scanner but offers nothing substantial.  The series has very cliched dialogues and the series feels like an amateurish show rather than a full-fledged mature series. Mallika Sherawat's role is inspired by Ekta Kapoor and hurls abuses and behaves in a manner with which everybody will have a problem.  The investigation goes completely haywire and the dialogues, direction and screenplay are not at all mature. The series feels as if it has been made hurriedly without any sensibility.

Candy Web Series Review: Another masterpeice delivered after Asur

Voot is slowly becoming a harbinger of some wonderful stories and all the credit for this goes to the writers who bring out some great concepts in front of people. Candy is the latest outing of Voot with some versatile actors and the series will leave you craving for more.  The series has so many twists and turns that it will leave you completely baffled. The scenes of the series are such that they do not leave your mind for a long time and the darkness of the series along with the great performances by Ronit Bose Roy and Richa Chadha will keep you glued to the screen.  The series can easily make it to your must-watch list and it is going to become your binge-watch for the weekend as well.

Engineering Girls 2.0 Web Series Review: A well deserved sequel to a wonderful series

Engineering Girls has been one of the most loved series of TVF as it shows what actually goes on in the life of three engineering girls. Some new characters have been added to the new season to add spice to the story.  The series shows the misadventures of three friends who are in the second last year of engineering. Their struggles with life, love, friendship and career is what forms the crux of the story. The cast completely justify their roles and fit in their characters perfectly.  The series has a perfect blend of romance, comedy and confusion which makes it a watchable series.

Bhoot Police Movie Review: No unique concept and onveracting steals fun of the movie

If we go to the genre of horror-comedy then many films have been made and many of them have proved to be entertaining. However, not every time the experiment can prove to be successful.  Bhoot Police is one such experiment that proves to be unsuccessful. The movie is full of overacting and apart from Yami Gautam none of the other actors can even make an impact. There is nothing new and unique in the movie. It feels that all the old concepts have been moulded into this film and it looks more like a pudding which is not tasty.  I would recommend you to watch the movie only if you are really bored otherwise it is conveniently skippable.

Kota Factory Season 2 Trailer Review: Jeetu Bhaiya returns back with a bang

Kota Factory has given us a glimpse of a student's life in Kota as it has been an engineering hub at one point of time. The series was unique as it introduced a black and white shade in the world of web series and the story was told sequentially.  The trailer of the second season of the series has been released. The series is released by Netflix and this is one of the series which I have eagerly waiting for. The actors have done a great job and Jeetu Bhaiya shines in his role as a teacher.  If we go by trailer, then the series looks to be interesting and will keep you glued till the very end. I hope the series justifies itself through the second season.

Hai Taubba Season 3 Trailer Review: A series which focuses on women centric stories

Every time it so happens that males can express their thoughts and desires easily than females. Females are always shunned by society so they refrain from expressing their innermost desires and wants. Hai Taubba brings out four stories where females take the front seat and narrate their stories.  The third season also works on similar lines where the stories are narrated from a female point of view and maybe this series might be called soft porn but I do not think that is the case as the stories are being narrated with sensitivity and sincerity.  The trailer looks interesting and the hopes from the series have increased after watching the trailer and the stories.

Cartel Web Series Review: A gripping action drama series with some versatile actors

Gang dramas and thrillers are always interesting to watch. The fight between different gang leaders for power, fame and money is very interesting and exciting to watch. Cartel is one such series that talks about gang war and have a very interesting cast of versatile actors.  The series has all the elements of thrill and will make you glued to your seats till the end. All the characters are fit in their roles and there is a lot of murder, blood, drama and gunshots. The climax is totally unexpected and leaves us waiting for the second season.  The series is a must-watch in the recently released list as it has all the exciting and thrilling parts and is a very good story.

Helmet Movie Review: A movie which talks about a serious concept in hilarious tone

Only a few movies discuss a concept that is less talked about. Helmet proves to be one such movie that discusses a very serious concept but tries to bring a humorous tone to it. The movie discusses how difficult it is to avail condoms from a medical store. This problem comes to notice of three youngsters who try to find out a way to sort out this issue. They try to sell condoms to all those who hesitate in asking for condoms from a general store. The movie is easily relatable to today's generation as there are times when we hesitate in purchasing condoms.  The movie although goos but becomes monotonous after a point of time. It is said to be another disaster from Zee5. Although the lead actors are good the storyline is not according to their calibre and talent.

The Empire Web Series Review: Another series which glorifies Muslims

Muslims have always been glorified in Indian history although they brought nothing but destruction all over. The Empire is a series that focuses on the adventures or misadventures of Mugal Emperor Babur who had the thirst for power and invaded India all due to this thirst.  The series has faced a lot of criticism all due to its portrayal of Muslims and positively glorifying them. There has been a lot of controversies surrounding the series and although it is made on the scale of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films there is not that beauty that Bhansali brings in his movies. The series starts becoming monotonous after a point of time it is difficult to understand why the series was made in the first place.

Chehre Movie Review: A bland and boring movie without thrill and excitement

At times, it so happens that a person wears so many disguises that he is unable to separate the real face from the fake ones. Chehre is a movie that works on a similar concept. There are so many faces of different characters that it is difficult to classify their real faces.  The movie as we saw in the trailer looked like a thriller but when we see the movie is so monotonous that all the thrill and excitement is taken away and there is nothing left to watch out in the movie. The movie is a take on the criminal justice system in India but it fails to impart the message it wants to.  The courtroom drama by four friends starts becoming dangerous when they come across someone who has hidden various faces behind his single face leaving everybody baffled.

200 Halla Ho Movie Review: A movie which imparts a strong and impactful message

There are times when some situations make us feel so helpless and fearful that it takes almost a lifetime to come out of the situation. When a girl is raped by a stranger, she feels like a prostitute and a lifetime of pain always subsides in her heart.  However, some girls come out of the pain and emerge stronger. They do everything to take revenge from the person who tried to crush them and their expectations. 200 Halla Ho is a movie based on real events where 200 Dalit women attacked the rapist who assumed that girls are weak and vulnerable.  The movie and cast are great and the movie imparts a strong and good message which is that a woman should not be weak but face all then situations boldly and strongly.

Bellbottom Movie Review: A complete package which takes you by storm

Bellbottom were a type of pants that were worn by men and women in the 90s. Nobody ever imagined that a movie by this would be releasing in the theatres after so many years. The movie is not related to the pants but it is a name given to an Indian agent by the Indian Government.  The movie takes us back to the spy era where spies played an important role in protecting and safeguarding the country. Akshay Kumar looks ultra-fit in the role of a spy and gives a wonderful performance.  All the other actors have also delivered a great performance and the movie became the first one to be released in the theatres post lockdown. The movie is a must-watch as it is very entertaining and thrilling.
